My Madness 1-16-2001

Things that have alot of power are one of my passions ! I have a '71 RS/Z-28 sportin' 406 rwhp and 430 rwtq hp out of a 468 cu. big block.Some of its other features are a complete Guldstrand road racing suspension package,4 wheel disc brakes,and a dual-friction Centerforce clutch mated to an aluminum flywheel driving a 6 speed Richmond gear tranny.We're off to the the "Siver State Classic" in September,2001

My other car is a 2001 WS6 Trans Am w/6 speed that I just picked up from Reno,Nevada and drove home,I made it to California before getting a ticket !! . I haven't modded this car yet except for the best radar detector that you can buy ! It's a Passport SR-1 remote detector.I won't be doing too much to this car as it's my daily driver,but some planned changes are a reprogrammed chip,new exhaust,a few intake tweaks and a few changes to the suspension.I'm hoping to add about 40-50 more hp and a better exhaust note !

Well things change fast around here .... now my '71 is my drag race car and my '01 is my open road race car. Both have new mods to go along with their new tasks in life.

Coming in for a landing !
After averaging 130 mph for 90 miles ... 151 mph for the 1st 50 miles, I'm just happy that the car made it. The rear end was howling, the whole car was vibrating from an overheated differential. Sure looks good in this picture though ... Thanks Boyce !
